REVIEW

This book was amazing. The romance really had been going, and the plot was just as good. I’m so into the characters, I can’t wait for the next book. There’s a sexy Captain Hook type, a princess, a bunch of pirates, a prince, and a guard.

Ada and Shane set off on different adventures to save their kingdom, and I equally enjoyed both sides of their stories. This book is full of twists and turns–some predictable, others that completely surprised me.

After the first few chapters it was nearly impossible to put down. I liked trying to solve the mystery of where the Nihyrst were just as much as Ada did. But let me tell you, the romance was amazing, even the ones that were only hinted at. I just can’t get over how good this book was. and I really loved how all of the female characters got along and no one was in any sort of competition. Ada is feminine and yet super strong-willed and lethal. I love her determination. She’s the kind of female character I want to read about. And the captain has a heart of gold beneath his brooding exterior.

Then there’s the plague that hits and all the secrets along with it. I love a book that makes me think and guess what people’s motives are. This book definitely did that. I could gush about it all day. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one. Actually, I’m already wanting to get my hands on book three because I know I’m not going to be able to stop after book two. Cait never fails to impress.
