Top 6 New Releases (April 18th – 24th, 2022)

With so many books releasing this week, it can be hard to chose what to read next. This list narrows the options to the top six most interesting books. From what I can see, they are all either standalones or the first book in a series, so you can jump right in.

Promise Me Forever (Sweet Beginnings Book 3)

I cried while reading the prologue of this. The tension between the two main characters starts off in the very beginning of the book. We find out that she was going off to college but she had just spent a summer with him as her best friend and it had become more of a romantic relationship but neither of them was willing to admit it. Then she kissed him. He didn't want her to stay on the ranch if she had dreams of more, so he let her go to college and tried to put her out of his mind for the 4 years she was there. Then she came back to the ranch, and for the last year it's been all either of them can do to resist their feelings and pretend like the kiss never happened.

Playing Hooky with the Hottie (How to Catch a Crush Book 3)

If Andrew was the sweet cinnamon roll and Cristian the bad boy, then Will is the funny man. His banter about old crime movies and shows with Hazel was adorable. I was so glad that he already had a crush on her before she started making any changes in order to catch the eye of the swim Captain who she had a crush on.

The Playboy Alien Prince: A Steamy Sci-Fi Alien Romance (Royal Alien Mates Book 1)

This book was so good. The characters had instant chemistry and the descriptions were amazing. Instead of coming off as crass at times, it was just super sexy without the cringe. The girl main character loves her job, and she doesn't want to risk it over a hot prince. He has a responsibility to marry and have heirs, but he's distracted from the mission because of his feelings for her.
