What the hell is this?

Hey, everyone. I suck at writing. Not the making words into sentences part, but the get my butt in the chair part. Once I get going, it’s easy, but as soon as I pause, it’s like an invisible wall of perfectionism goes up and I can’t breakthrough it until I’m certain I have long enough to sit down and write something amazing.

This is a horrible flaw to have as someone who wants to be prolific. And the thing is, I do love to write, and I’m proud of my writing skills. But I hate having to breakthrough that wall. The wall is like a pile of dirty dishes in the sink. I’m not going to clean them until there are no dishes left. And even then, I’ll usually just wash what I have too until I get sick of there never being anything clean and have the 10pm urge to bake a cake and need to clear off the counters to have room to do it.

And the thing is, avoiding takes more effort than doing, but tell that to ADD and OCD. I researched for like an hour on what my first post should be only to say screw it and do this instead, and I’d like to think this is way better than a this is what my blog’s about post, though I’m sure we’ll get to that.

So back to the main question: what the hell is this?

It’s my blog, my way to say screw it all to hell and get some words down. And hopefully, the more consistent I am with this–a task that doesn’t have to be prefect cuz no one’s paying for it–the better I’ll become at getting my butt in the chair to write for profit.

This blog is going to be all over the place cuz I don’t give a fudge–well, I do, but fake it till you make it, right?

Anyway, I’ll try not to be too boring. My main focus will be on my books, other books (YA, fantasy, scifi, romance, & paranormal), writing, and whatever else I want.

PS: I don’t cuss, so I might use silly words for emphasis. I hope you’ll stick around for the ride.

PPS: Some of my books do have cussing, so if you’re opposed to that, hit me up and I’ll tell you which ones to avoid.
